CopyCenter

If someone asked you to put $25,000 on your desk, douse it with gasoline, and set it on fire, you would probably say no!

Yet copier sales reps ask buyers to do this every single day.

When you sign a contract to purchase a new copier, its resale value is ZERO before you even finish signing your name.

So, why do you do it?

Well, copier sales reps are good at what they do, and they've been tossing buyers the same pitch (apparently with success) for at least 40 years: “Why pay commercial copy centers fifty cents a page for color copies? If you buy our copier, we'll only charge a dime. You save 40 cents on every single copy. So, if you print just 50,000 copies a year, you'll save $20,000. The machine will pay for itself in less than 15 months!

How can you turn your back on that offer?

Well first, the ten cent per-page ‘click’ charge only covers a fraction of your total cost. You also have to recover depreciation, interest, taxes, rent, utilities, labor and paper - little items the copier salesman fails to mention. When all these costs are added-up, you’re likely to find your total expense is more than $1 a page. Overall it is much less expensive to send your copy work to Riverside Graphics.

Convenience

Then there’s the issue of convenience.  Copier sales reps pitch the idea that it’s so much more convenient to have copiers right in your office than to send you work to a Copy Center.  You can print whatever you want, whenever you want, in whatever quantities you need without leaving the comfort of your office.  But here’s the rub. The copier your sales rep is pushing is an office copier not a commercial copier.  It’s not designed for heavy volume copy jobs.  So it’s not uncommon to begin printing 30 copies of an 80 page document you need to present the next morning, and have your copier ‘die’ half way through the print process.

What are your options?  You can’t wait hours (or until the next morning) for a copier technician to arrive, and another hour for the technician to diagnose and fix the problem. So you call Riverside and hand the job over to us.

Efficiency

As every manufacturer knows, efficiency and quality control improve dramatically when you centralize and consolidate.  It simply doesn't make sense for hundreds of law firms, financial services companies, CPAs, architects, engineers, commercial realtors and consultants located within less than a mile of Riverside to literally have tens of millions of dollars tied-up in copiers, staff and floor space, when this function (and its headaches) could be outsourced to Riverside at a much lower cost.

Black & Decker

Mentors often remind young people just starting their careers that: “Consumers don’t want Black & Decker drills… they want holes.” Well, you don’t want copiers, or a copy center… you just want copies. Riverside is the answer. Contact us, we'll help you itemize and review your current costs to see just how much you can save.
